two questions about project runway

1. Why was it delayed? Why did they skip a season? Was it because of the Tim Gunn negotiations? Was it because they couldn't find enough good contestants?

2. Inevitably there is some energy lost by the show being off for this long in between seasons. Do you think it will be able to recover or do you think it is not going to be quite the same hit that it was by the end of the third season?

No show, however unique and creative, can ever recapture the freshness of its first few seasons. I think Bravo made a huge mistake in waiting so long before another PR airs. Having said that, the TC franchise is as strong as ever despite a disappointing Season 2.

I worry that Bravo is diluting its 'star' shows by producing and airing so many imitations. After a while the titles become interchangeable - PR, TC, TD, WO, SG, and now a house flipper show in the making and another one about hotel management soon to be aired. Add competition from Fox, Food Network, and other reality t.v. channels, and I think these shows will soon wear out their welcome.
